§ 12 · Privacy Policy

How we handle your data.

This policy explains what personal data Labora Chem S.L. collects through this website, why, and what rights you have over it. Last updated: August 2026.

§ 12.1

Who we are.

Labora Chem S.L. (Avenida Maisonnave 41, 3º, 03003 Alicante, España) is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. For any question about this policy or your data, contact us at info@laborachem.es.

§ 12.2

What we collect.

We collect personal data in two ways:

Contact, Distributor and Partner forms
Name, email, company, country, phone (where provided), and the content of your message.
Analytics (only with your consent)
Pages visited, time on site, general location (country/city level), device type, and referring site, via Google Analytics.

We do not collect payment information, and this site has no user accounts or login.

§ 12.3

Why, and on what basis.

Form submissions
To respond to your enquiry, quote, or application. Legal basis: your consent, and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries.
Analytics
To understand how the site is used and improve it. Legal basis: your explicit consent via the cookie banner. Declining has no effect on your ability to use the site.
Strictly necessary cookies
To remember your cookie preference and let the site function. Legal basis: legitimate interest; these do not require consent under EU law.

§ 12.4

Cookies.

This site uses a cookie banner offering three categories: Mandatory (always on, required for the site to function), Analytics, and Marketing. Analytics and Marketing cookies only activate if you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's site data and reloading the page. As of this policy's last update, no Marketing cookies are in use.

§ 12.5

Who we share it with.

We do not sell personal data. If you accept Analytics cookies, usage data is shared with Google LLC (Google Analytics) under Google's own data processing terms. Form submissions are used internally by Labora Chem and are not shared with third parties except where necessary to fulfil your request (for example, routing a distributor enquiry to the relevant territory contact) or where required by law.

§ 12.6

International transfers.

Google Analytics may process data on servers outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. Google provides standard contractual clauses and other safeguards recognised under EU data protection law to cover this transfer.

§ 12.7

How long we keep it.

We retain form submissions for as long as necessary to handle your enquiry and maintain a reasonable business record, and in any case no longer than 24 months from your last contact with us, unless a longer period is required by law or by an ongoing distributor or partner relationship. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' own retention settings.

§ 12.8

Your rights.

Under EU data protection law (GDPR), you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Request a copy of your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal

To exercise any of these rights, contact info@laborachem.es. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Spanish data protection authority, the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD).

§ 12.9

Security.

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, or misuse. This site is served over HTTPS and does not store payment information.

§ 12.10

Changes to this policy.

We may update this policy as the website or our data practices change. The date at the top of this page reflects the last update. Material changes will be reflected here before they take effect.
